SUCKER DUCKS - I GOT THAT NINTENDO WiiD EDITION

Its been a minute since I have done a Sucker Ducks, but I felt I needed to get it back into swing for the James Bond plus 2 (thats hip hop). I have been working on a new mix that I will be putting out for SXSW, and I am kind of excited about it. Also, if you havent already got your SXSW wristband situation taken care, you should handle that now. I have not even looked at the official listings yet, but am pretty excited about JAPAN NIGHT.

I have been non stop bumping the new Dj Morse Code Live at Home mix he made for a few weeks ago. I posted it on Fully Fitted blog mid last week and its just been killing the pod pod.

Now for some tech nerd ish, this comes courtesy of Engadget via Dayta in Houston. Lacie has gone ahead and just cut the middle man of having a USB drive on your keychain by making USB keys. I know I have bought about three different models of flash drives for my girl and they keep breaking on her, so this might be the ultimate option for those that throw their keys when not in use.

Now for something I am really pumped a out. The new Nintendo DSi is looking like it will have an earlier release date stateside than expected. I first saw this on Play-Asia a few months ago and it was looking like we would be getting it for this coming holiday season, luckily I am seeing pre orders taking place via Game Stop. Nintendo ditched the Game Boy Advanced cartridge slot and put in an SD slot as well as internal memory. There were also talks about implementing an online store where you can download older titles directly to the device. There are amazing new features they have added one, click the link above to learn more.

Ok, one last thing on some Nintendo ish. My girlfriend got me a Flip Mino HD camera for Christmas this last year. I have been using it ever since and highly recommend it since it is the cheapest HD camera on the market (which I am sure will change very soon). Anyway, I frequent message boards for hacks and mods to the camera and came across a great (cheap) plan for building your own steady cam harness. Johnny Lee created the system that is not just for the Mino, but any standard video camera. While doing more research, it turns out Mr. Lee has created more than just the "poor man's steadycam", you can look at his other craftiness here. For those that own a Nintendo Wii, you might want to look at this.
